Sarah Rafferty

Sarah discovered her love for acting when she was in the pre-school years. The passion for acting began when her drama teacher saw her jogging across the lawn in order to get to her the field hockey game on time. He told her she could skip the rehearsal to be part of Richard III's actors. Sarah became inspired to improve her skills in acting by taking the dual degree at Hamilton College with a major in English as well as Theater. The theatre she was studying also in London as well as Oxford in her Junior year. She was encouraged to learn about the arts from her parents. Her mother, who chairs the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT as well as her father, who paints. The talent she had and the training earned her a place in the world of television. She has also appeared in a variety of TV shows like Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Bones, Bones with CSI Miami in addition to feature films Four Single Fathers Falling For Grace and countless professional shows like As You Like It. Sarah's television acting career is complemented by her role as an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association. She speaks regularly on this issue. Sarah was the host of their annual Sardi's party for the past three years and also presented the Sardi's party this year. Sarah is currently on the west and east coasts with her wife and two children and is often in Toronto for work.
